What We Do
Our Solar Solutions
Solar EPC
Engineering, Procurement & Construction under one contract.
Engineering
Site-specific engineering — shadow analysis, structural design, cable routing, string sizing and single-line diagrams — using industry-standard simulation software to optimise generation for the site.
Procurement
A vetted vendor network for modules, inverters, mounting structures, cables and switchgear. We source from bankable Tier-1 manufacturers with warranty terms and service networks that we can hold accountable in India.
Construction
Structured site execution — civil, mechanical, and electrical work sequenced with clear safety protocols, quality checks, and commissioning documentation handed over at the end.
System Design & Compliance
Every Deon Energy installation is technically validated before execution. Our design approach prioritises long-term reliability, electrical safety, performance, and seamless grid integration.
Regulatory & Compliance Framework
We coordinate with the relevant central, state, and local authorities to support the approvals and statutory requirements applicable to each project, including:
- State Renewable Energy Agencies Applicable renewable-energy approvals and registrations.
- State DISCOMs / Utilities Grid connectivity, power evacuation, net metering, and related approvals.
- MNRE Applicable central renewable-energy guidelines and schemes.
- CEIG / Electrical Inspectorate Statutory electrical safety inspections and approvals, wherever applicable.
- Other Local & Statutory Authorities Project-specific permissions, clearances, and compliance requirements based on location and project scope.
Important: Approvals and regulatory requirements vary by state, DISCOM, project type, capacity, and applicable regulations. Deon Energy coordinates the required processes accordingly.
Commercial & Industrial Rooftop Solar
Turning underused rooftop area into a productive energy asset.
Grid-Cost Reduction
On-site generation reduces the share of your load billed at commercial or HT industrial tariffs, which tend to rise over time.
Emissions Reduction
Every kWh generated on-site displaces a kWh from the grid, reducing your Scope 2 emissions footprint measurably.
Depreciation Benefit
Under current Indian income tax provisions, rooftop solar assets qualify for accelerated depreciation, which can materially improve first-year after-tax economics for eligible businesses.
Actual depreciation eligibility and rates depend on the current Income Tax Act provisions and the buyer's tax status — please confirm with your tax advisor.
Modular & Scalable
Designs that let you start with the roof area you have today and extend later as your facility grows.
Long Design Life
Modules and structures selected and sized for a 25-year design life with manufacturer performance warranties.
Remote Monitoring
Cloud-based generation monitoring so you see production, downtime and yield in one place, not spread across spreadsheets.
Commercial Structures: CAPEX vs OPEX
Two common structures for financing solar. The right one depends on your balance-sheet appetite, tax position and cashflow preference.
| Comparison | CAPEX (You Own) | OPEX / PPA |
|---|---|---|
| Upfront Investment | 100% funded by the customer | Zero upfront — investor funds the plant |
| Asset Ownership | Customer owns the plant | Investor / developer owns the plant |
| O&M Responsibility | Contracted separately by customer | Provider is responsible during the term |
| Long-Term Savings | Higher over the plant's life | Steady per-unit discount vs grid tariff |
| Tax Position | May qualify for accelerated depreciation | Treated as an operating expense |
Illustrative summary only. The right structure depends on your specific balance sheet, tax position, and long-term energy strategy — not financial advice.
Operations & Maintenance
Protecting long-term generation. An O&M contract is where a solar plant either keeps performing or quietly loses generation. We take that responsibility seriously, with structured preventive and corrective maintenance backed by remote monitoring.
- Preventive Maintenance Scheduled inspections, cleaning cycles, and inverter servicing.
- Corrective Maintenance Issue diagnosis and rectification within agreed response times.
- Thermal & Visual Inspection Module and connection checks to catch degradation early.
- Remote Monitoring 24/7 generation and alarm visibility via monitoring platform.
Yield Optimisation
Cleaning cycles and operational parameters adjusted to actual site conditions and seasonal irradiance patterns.
Response Times
Regional service coverage with defined response-time commitments in the O&M contract, matched to plant criticality.
Module Health Checks
Periodic visual inspection and, where required, thermal imaging to identify degradation, hot-spots or damaged connections early.
Monitoring & Reporting
Monthly generation reports, uptime tracking and clear escalation for anything that needs the customer's attention.
Advisory & Consultancy
For customers earlier in their solar journey, we offer standalone advisory work — feasibility, commercial structuring, and technical assessments.
Feasibility & Bankability Studies
Independent technical assessments of proposed sites — resource, load profile, structural suitability and commercial modelling.
Lender's Engineer Support
Technical review, verification and reporting for financial institutions and equity partners funding solar assets.
Corporate Decarbonisation Planning
Structured pathways for reducing Scope 2 emissions through on-site solar, open-access power and PPA structures.
Portfolio & Asset Reviews
Due-diligence support for buyers, sellers or operators of existing solar assets.
